Eileen Byart

Eileen had worked for a large financial institution for many years before deciding she would rather be her own boss. After moving her family back and forth across Canada, she eventually settled in BC, where she owned a cafe in Penticton for a couple of years. However, after just a month or two of “retirement,” she knew she wasn't ready for that lifestyle yet. Now, she enjoys the shortest possible commute, living just across the street from Meridian.

She has two sons: one is starting his PhD at Berkeley, and the other is currently working in Calgary. In her free time, she loves exploring the area for hiking, spending time outdoors, visiting wineries, and enjoying plenty of fresh, local food.
