Nadine Fort, M.A. SLP-C

As one of our Kamloops SLP’s, Nadine brings her love of language and communication into her work with both children and families. She received her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from University of Minnesota Duluth. Her career started in Manitoba working in small rural and Metis communities in the North.   Later, she provided services to preschool and school aged children, their parents and the educators in the Brandon School Division in Manitoba. She brings to the SLP team an immense amount of experience working with children and their families and caregivers. She believes that parents and caregivers are a child’s best communication partner and focuses her interactions to support their skills to be their child’s best “therapist”. Nadine has raised 3 sons and now lives in Kamloops with her husband. They love to travel, having visited China, Japan, Thailand and Peru. They also love camping and kayaking so that they can pursue their passion for “loon stalking” in BC’s lakes and rivers!
