Pediatric occupational therapy (OT) treatment focuses on helping children with physical, mental, developmental, cognitive or sensory difficulties be as independent as possible in all areas of daily living. A pediatric occupational therapist can help children with various needs improve their skills, enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.   •         Adaptive equipment recommendations, usage training and assistance obtaining funds as needed
  •         On-going guidance and support for family members

Speech-Language Pathology

Pediatric speech language pathology (SLP) treatment focuses on helping children with developmental delays, genetic disorders, motor speech disorders and pervasive developmental disorders communicate with others in their environment successfully and to improve speech, language and social communication skills when possible.  At Meridian Rehabilitation Consulting Inc., our pediatric SLPs provide children with fun, play-based activities to help them become the best communicators they can be.
