Isabelle Thomas, MSc. ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis), BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
Isabelle holds a masters degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland. Isabelle has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2015. She is also a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) and keeps up with current research by reading journals, listening to podcasts and webinars and attending conferences which she then implements in her day to day work.
Isabelle has worked with kids and adolescents with various developmental and intellectual disabilities for over 6 years in a variety of settings including ASD specific preschools, mainstream schools and in the home setting. She also has training and experience in providing education to caregivers and support workers on topics such as managing challenging behaviour and teaching new skills using the principles of behaviour.
When Isabelle isn’t working you will find her hiking, skiing, doing yoga and cooking and eating with family and friends. Isabelle’s favourite part of her position at Meridian is being able to pass on her knowledge and skills to families so they can support their children’s learning through their daily interactions.
