Dena Butchart, BHKin

Dena was born and raised in Kamloops. She grew up knowing that she was going to have a career in healthcare.  With a dad who is a firefighter and a mom who is a nurse, hearing their stories inspired her to learn about injuries and what she could do to make a difference in people’s recovery.  Dena spends her time exploring – a wilderness girl at heart, she especially loves backcountry camping.  She also enjoys hiking, long distance running, soccer, skiing, traveling and learning about different cultures and ways of life.  Dena loves working as a team with Meridian and sharing new techniques to assist clients.  The best feeling for Dena is when her clients have those “aha” moments with their rehabilitation.
