Catherine Gardner

Catherine is passionate about wheelchair seating and independent mobility, brain injury, cognitive rehabilitation, geriatrics and mental health, with the goal of helping her clients optimize their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. She graduated with her masters in Occupational Therapy from UBC in 2013, and since then has worked across a broad range of age groups, conditions and environments. She spent 3 years working as the sole provider community OT in Terrace, northern B.C, where she worked with many first nations groups, adults with developmental disabilities, and adults with neurological conditions. Catherine now works in geriatrics, mental health, adult physical health, seating and mobility, designing gradual return to work plans, and performing non-legal Functional Capacity Assessments. When she is not at work, Catherine spends time with her husband and young son, exploring the beautiful outdoors that Vernon has to offer.
