Where are you located?

Our address is 3007 28th Ave. Vernon, BC.

If you are coming from Kelowna (south of Vernon) turn right off of Hwy 97 onto 28th Avenue (just after Earl's Restaurant). We are one block in on the north side of the street, corner building across from the Golden Crown Restaurant.

If you are coming from Armstrong (north of Vernon) take Hwy 97 south and turn left onto 28th Avenue (just before Sir Winston's Pub and Earl's Restaurant). Continue one block east. We are on the north side, corner building across from the Golden Crown Restaurant and Travelodge Hotel.

What is an Occupational Therapist?

An Occupational therapist's primary goal is to enable a person to participate in the activites of everyday life, including their occupation. They analyze the physical, mental and social components of an activity and then adapt the activity, the environment and/or the person to enable them to resume the activity. OT's work with individuals to facilitate health and well being through occupation and daily activities.


What does a Kinesiologist do?

Kinesiologists assess the movement, performance and function of the human body. As well, to maintain, rehabilitate and enhance movement, performance and function in the areas of sport, work and general activities of daily living.



What is an F.C.E. ?

F.C.E. is short for Functional Capacity Evaluation. This is a specific assessment which tests an individual's capacity to sit, stand, lift, grab, bend, and do fine motor and gross motor skills. This assessment monitors pain and discomfort levels as well as heart rate. The purpose of an FCE is to help determine an individual's tolerances for certain types of activities related to their job or potential jobs.
